Pease join TAACO Executive Committee in our annual membership meeting on Sunday, March 3, 2019 for hot Turkish Tea, citir borek, simit and delightful conversations among friends.
About 50 yearsTAACO has welcomed all Turkish Americans living in Central Ohio. We are proud of our association and grateful to every member for making this a wonderful community.
TAACO Annual Membership Meeting will not only give all of our members the opportunity to interact with the current TAACO Executive Council members and share your valuable opinions about the future of our organization, but also welcome our newest Turkish American families.
During the meeting you will also have the opportunity to nominate candidates for the executive council positions for the 2019-2020 term. If you or someone you know is interested in serving on the Executive Council, please send your nominations to erdal.5@osu.edu. Self-nominations are encouraged. Nominations are open for all the seven positions (President; Vice President; Secretary; Treasurer; Director of Social Affairs; Director of Cultural Affairs; Director of Public Relations and Liaison)
To be eligible, nominees must be a current member of TAACO.
Nominees are encouraged to review the association bylaws at www.taaco-columbus.org regarding Executive Council member responsibilities prior to submitting/agreeing to the nomination.
